Terms of Service
Last updated: July 25, 2026 — binding for all PowerMesh contributors.
These Terms of Service govern your participation in the PowerMesh distributed mobile computing network. By installing the official PowerMesh client and contributing compute cycles, you agree to every clause below.
1. User Requirements
Participation in the PowerMesh network is conditional on the following absolute requirements. Violation of any item results in immediate suspension and forfeiture of pending payouts.
- Official software client only. You may only contribute compute cycles through the unmodified PowerMesh client distributed via our official channels. Forks, repackaged builds, or third-party wrappers are prohibited.
- No emulation farming. Running PowerMesh inside emulators, virtualized phones, device farms, or any environment designed to artificially inflate node count is prohibited. We actively fingerprint execution environments and reject matches against suspected emulated hardware.
- No manipulation. Tampering with Verified FLOPS counters, spoofing thermal sensors, or manipulating network bandwidth reporting is treated as fraud.
- Account integrity. Each human contributor operates one account. Multi-accounting to farm referral bonuses is prohibited and detectable via device clustering analysis.
2. Payout Framework
All payouts are governed by Proof of Computation verification. Your earning rate is calculated from Verified FLOPS, connection uptime, and network throughput, and is finalized only after the receiving enterprise client cryptographically confirms task results.
- Verification. Every claimed FLOP must be accompanied by a zero-knowledge proof accepted by the verification layer. Unverified FLOPs earn nothing.
- Minimum payout threshold. A $5.00 USD minimum payout threshold applies. Balances below this threshold remain accrued in your wallet until reached.
- Payout methods. Withdrawals are issued as stablecoins (USDC / USDT) to a self-custody wallet of your choice, or via bank transfer where supported. Bank-transfer payouts may take 3–5 business days to settle.
- Cluster multipliers. The 5% cluster multiplier is applied to your Verified FLOPS baseline and recalculated hourly based on active cluster members.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PowerMesh to perform, attempt, or facilitate any of the following: circumventing regional compute restrictions, processing data you do not have rights to, deploying malware through modified clients, or reselling compute access to third parties without written authorization.
4. Account Suspension & Forfeiture
PowerMesh reserves the right to suspend any account suspected of violating these Terms. Suspended accounts undergo a 14-day review window during which the contributor may appeal. Confirmed violations result in permanent termination and forfeiture of any pending, unpaid payouts.
5. Liability Disclaimer
PowerMesh is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PowerMesh and its affiliates disclaim all liability for:
- Localized hardware wear. Contributing compute cycles places additional load on your device's CPU, GPU, and thermal envelope. While our thermal-throttling and charge-state guards are designed to minimize stress, long-term contributors may experience accelerated component wear.
- Battery degradation. Sustained compute cycles contribute to lithium-ion battery cycle consumption. PowerMesh only runs while charging by default, but contributors accept responsibility for any localized battery degradation.
- Network costs. PowerMesh defaults to Wi-Fi only, but if you override this setting, you are solely responsible for any cellular data charges incurred.
- Service availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted task supply, specific earning rates, or continuous network uptime. Earnings are entirely dependent on enterprise demand.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes (payout thresholds, verification methodology, acceptable-use scope) are announced 30 days in advance via in-app notification. Continued contribution after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS in San Francisco, California.
